Professional Expertise
Doctorate-prepared Legal Nurse Consultant and Nurse Expert specializing in Emergency Department (ED) medicine. With 17 years of experience, Dr. Tracy Page has held various roles, from ED Technician to bedside nurse, charge nurse, clinical lead, Emergency Department Manager, Emergency Department Director, House Supervisor and Clinical Project Manager. Her expertise includes:
- Emergency Department Medicine: Triage, ESI assignment, EMTALA, medication administration, assessment, discharge, education, policies & procedures, ambulance patient offload time (APOT), and standards of care.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH, Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN), TNCC
Currently overseeing district emergency departments, a trauma program and a base hospital. Tracy Page is also a Hospital Administrator with extensive experience in:
- Higher Level of Care Transfers & Out-of-Network Repatriation
- Disaster Management
- Capacity Management & Surge Planning: Utilizing NEDOCS
Tracy Page is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Clinical Project Manager who has developed innovative processes that decreased patient wait times, improved patient experience, and earned four Lantern Awards for exceptional care. She has led several focused initiatives that improved efficiency, eliminated waste, and increased revenue with:
- ED Operations, Radiology, Urgent Care, Cardiology, Outpatient Pharmacy, Neurology, Inpatient Leadership, 1st Case On-Time Starts in the Operating Room, Sterile Processing, OB, Registration, and Security.
- Developed split-flow processes in various emergency departments that decreased left without being seen rates and overall length of stay for discharged patients
